ShortsMaker

ShortsMaker transforms YouTube videos into engaging short clips, optimized for virality and impact.

How ShortsMaker Works

  • Input a YouTube Link: Copy and paste a YouTube video URL into the ShortsMaker field.
  • Process: Click "Process Video" to start the analysis.
  • Analysis: Our advanced algorithms scan the video for key themes, questions, and engaging moments.
  • Clipping: ShortsMaker selects the best segments, auto-crops, and adjusts them for short-form content (15-60 seconds).
  • Subtitles: Subtitles are automatically added to enhance accessibility and engagement.
  • Viral Score: Each short clip gets a Viral Score (0-100) based on wow-factor, audience appeal, discussed topics, and hooks.
    • If your short clips score 70-75 at most, the source video isn’t ideal for shorts—try a longer or more engaging one.
    • If many clips score 95-100, you’ve picked a great video, perfect for viral success!
  • Preview: View clips in low resolution within your project for quick review.
  • Download: Save individual clips or a batch in high resolution.
    • Free plan clips include Creonix branding.
    • Paid plans allow downloads without branding (see Credits section).

Using Your Own Video Files

In addition to YouTube videos, you can also upload your own video files to create shorts. This is perfect for content you've already recorded.

  • Upload: Select the "Upload File" option in the ShortsMaker interface.
  • Supported Formats: We support common video formats like MP4, MOV, and AVI.
  • Processing: Once uploaded, your video will be processed and analyzed just like a YouTube video, generating a series of short clips.

Customizing Your Shorts

Want to add a personal touch? You can customize the appearance of subtitles and add your own logo. For a detailed guide on how to do this, please see our Style Templates Guide.

What to Expect

  • For videos under 30 minutes, expect ~10 short clips.
  • For longer videos, get 15-20 shorts per hour of content.
  • We aim for quality—most clips are designed to be engaging and viral, not filler.
